About This Album
Hailing from the northern region of the Philippines, the young pop and alternative group whose work forms the core of the pop album *Cup of Joe* built their collaborative dynamic from a shared commitment to crafting resonant work that connects with diverse audiences. The five-piece band brings together complementary creative roles that fuse to form their distinct sound: Gian Bernardino and Raphaell Ridao split vocal duties, Gabriel Fernandez handles lead guitar, CJ Fernandez rounds out the guitar section on rhythm, and Xen Gareza adds layers of texture on keys, a combination that has allowed them to build a robust, varied discography featured in full on their eponymous collection. Before assembling their work for the album, the group cut their teeth on a string of widely celebrated standalone and EP releases that first catapulted them to mainstream attention, starting with their first ever EP, part of the much-awaited project titled Patutunguhan.
