About this Song
Pop from the Philippines centers deeply felt, accessible storytelling that turns personal moments into widespread cultural touchstones, and the band behind the track Wag Na Lang has cultivated that exact magic into a discography that has cemented their status as one of the country’s most promising young acts. Hailing from the Philippines’ North, the pop and alternative-leaning group, which records and performs under the name Cup of Joe, brings together six distinct creative voices that weave together to form their cohesive, acclaimed sound. The lineup features Gian Bernardino on vocals, Raphaell Ridao also on vocals, Gabriel Fernandez on lead guitar, CJ Fernandez on rhythm guitar, and Xen Gareza on keys, a combination of skills that has allowed them to build a consistent body of work that resonates with listeners across and beyond the Philippines.
