About this Song
Cup of Joe, the young pop and alternative band from the North of the Philippines, brings together the distinct talents of Gian Bernardino on vocals, Raphaell Ridao also on vocals, lead guitarist Gabriel Fernandez, rhythm guitarist CJ Fernandez, and keys player Xen Gareza, a lineup whose combined creative energy has built a dynamic, widely celebrated discography under the group’s shared name. Their latest pop offering, Bukod-Tangi, arrives amid a historic stretch of career growth that has positioned the group as one of the most compelling rising acts in modern Philippine music, a trajectory that began with the launch of their first official EP, the much-anticipated collection titled Patutunguhan. That debut project introduced a suite of new tracks that would become the foundation of their mainstream breakthrough, including the luminous collaboration with artist Janine, “Tingin”, which earned its first industry recognition when it debuted at the number 40 spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 Philippines chart.
