Cup of Joe, the young pop and alternative band from the North of the Philippines, brings together five distinct creative voices to build a cohesive, adventurous discography that leans into a wide range of pop subgenres: electronic, folk, indie pop, Latin, orchestral pop, R&B, reggae, rock, and world music, each of these styles informing the band’s ability to craft dynamic, memorable work that resonates with broad cross-section of listeners. Made up of Gian Bernardino on vocals, Raphaell Ridao on vocals, Gabriel Fernandez on lead guitar, CJ Fernandez on rhythm guitar, and Xen Gareza on keys, the group’s collaborative energy fuels every release they put out, starting with their first ever EP, the much-anticipated Patutunguhan, which marked their formal debut as a recording act and introduced a slate of new tracks that would go on to become career-defining hits for the band.
