About this Song
A young pop and alternative band rooted in the northern Philippines brings together a lineup of five distinct, aligned musicians whose combined talents shape every entry in their growing discography as Cup of Joe. The group’s core features Gian Bernardino and Raphaell Ridao sharing vocal duties, Gabriel Fernandez handling lead guitar, CJ Fernandez on rhythm guitar, and Xen Gareza on keys, a collective that leans into their complementary strengths to build work that resonates across local and digital audiences, setting the stage for a steady trajectory of well-earned success that has unfolded across every new release they share. Their first formal project, the much-awaited debut EP Patutunguhan, marked their first major entry into the mainstream local music scene, featuring a slate of new songs that would go on to cement their status as one of the most exciting young acts to emerge from the Philippines in recent years.
