About this Song
Hailing from the northern regions of the Philippines, the young pop and alternative collective that makes up Cup of Joe brings together a tight core of multi-faceted creators who have built a robust, celebrated discography from their earliest formal releases to their most recent work. The group’s lineup, which has gelled to produce work that resonates deeply with audiences across the country and beyond, pairs vocalists Gian Bernardino and Raphaell Ridao, lead guitarist Gabriel Fernandez, rhythm guitarist CJ Fernandez, and keyboardist Xen Gareza, a combination of talents that lets the band balance pop accessibility with the textured edge of alternative music across every project they release. Their first major formal project, the much-awaited debut EP Patutunguhan, marked a major milestone for the group, bringing together a slate of new tracks that showcased their range and creative chemistry.
