About This Album
Session Road unfolds as a Rock & Roll album rooted in the Philippines, a work that occupies a unique space at the intersection of a globally beloved genre and the distinct cultural landscape of the archipelago that shaped its creation. For generations, Rock & Roll has traveled far beyond its origins to take root in communities across the world, and the Philippines has fostered one of the most vibrant, enduring scenes for the genre anywhere in Southeast Asia, with creators reimagining its core structures to fit the stories, perspectives, and experiences that define life across the country’s hundreds of inhabited islands.
