حول هذا الألبوم
The Filipino alternative rock band fitterkarma, formed in Metro Manila in 2023, presents their album *fitterkarma*. The band's name, stylized in all lowercase, combines the titles of two Radiohead songs from their 1997 album *OK Computer*: "Fitter Happier" and "Karma Police". Their music blends indie rock, alternative rock, and art rock, incorporating acoustic and electric guitars, warm vocals, and occasional heavier parts for live performances. Lyrically, fitterkarma often explores themes of obsessive or masochistic love, devotion, and emotional struggles, drawing inspiration from Philippine folklore and personal experiences. Critics have compared their horror-themed storytelling to The Cranberries' "Zombie." The project began in 2019 as a solo endeavor by Joao de Leon, who performed independently before collaborating with other musicians. In 2023, fitterkarma was officially formed by students from the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde's music production program, with Joao de Leon as the founder.
