fitterkarma, an alternative rock band from Metro Manila, Philippines, released "Sumpa" (translated as "Curse") in October 2025 as a folk-influenced rock single. The band, formed in 2023 by students from the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde's music production program, blends indie rock, alternative rock, and art rock, incorporating acoustic and electric guitars, warm vocals, and occasional heavier parts for live performances. Their name, stylized in all lowercase, was inspired by combining the titles of two Radiohead songs from their 1997 album *OK Computer*: "Fitter Happier" and "Karma Police." The project began in 2019 as a solo endeavor by Joao de Leon, who performed independently before collaborating with other musicians and becoming the band's founder.
