Cueshé is a Filipino pop rock band formed in 1998 by Fritz Labrado, Jovan Mabini, and Mike Manaloto. The band's name combines "Cue" from "banana cue" and "shé," referencing a former female vocalist. After a lineup change in 2001, Jay Justiniani became the lead vocalist, with Jhunjie Dosdos and Ruben Caballero joining in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
In 2005, Cueshé relocated to Manila and signed with Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Philippines), Inc. Their debut album, "Half Empty, Half Full," released in 2005, achieved double platinum status and featured hit singles like "Stay," "Sorry," "Ulan," "Can't Let You Go," "24 Hours," and "Sky." This album was described as deeply personal, drawing from the band's life experiences.
Less than a year later, Cueshé released their second album, "Back to Me," which included ten new tracks written by the band members. Singles from this album included the title track, "Borrowed Time," "Bakit?," and "Pasensya Na.
