حول هذا الألبوم
Popcorn, the rock and roll album hailing from the Philippines, stands as a testament to the way global musical forms can take on new, layered resonance when tied to specific regional contexts, even as it holds fast to the core qualities that have made rock and roll an enduring, transformative genre across generations of listeners and creators. Every choice woven into the album aligns with the uncompromising ethos that defines rock and roll, from the structural throughline that ties its full collection of work together as a cohesive, intentional body of art rather than a loose set of unrelated tracks. As an album crafted within the creative ecosystem of the Philippines, it draws on the rich, multifaceted musical landscape that has long made the country a hub for bold, genre-forward work that reinterprets popular global forms through the lens of local creative sensibilities, never straying from the core identity that marks it as a rock and roll project first and foremost.
