حول هذا الألبوم
For decades, R&B’s core impulses have woven into the tapestry of recorded music originating from the Philippines, merging transnational genre conventions with the layered cultural storytelling that defines creative output from every region of the archipelago. Early adaptations of the form centered the same core focus on emotional candor that defines the album Heartfelt, bringing to local audiences a mode of expression that resonated with both the universal and the intimately specific experiences of life in the Philippines. As the genre evolved across successive waves of creative output from the country’s creators, R&B retained its status as one of the most consistent vessels for unguarded, personal work, each new generation of artists refining the form to reflect their own relationships to the genre’s history and their own cultural moment.
