حول هذا الألبوم
The archipelagic expanse of Indonesia, a chain of thousands of islands spanning distinct cultural and creative zones, provides the foundational creative ground for Lanange Jagat, a Music/Mix album that draws on the wide breadth of sonic traditions that emerge from every corner of this vast, interconnected cultural landscape. Music/Mix as a category centers work that defies the rigid silos that often categorize recorded sound, bringing together strands of practice that might otherwise be separated by regional identity, cultural lineage, or formal creative convention, to create a body of work that feels both rooted in the contexts that birthed its individual components and entirely new, stitched together into a cohesive whole that honors every source it pulls from.
