About This Album
Brien and Gerald’s creative journey, as framed through the chronological profile that structures all context around their work, traces every step of their collaborative evolution from their earliest shared creative experiments to their latest full-length project, Life Over Whiskey, the album that represents the most refined, fully realized iteration of their artistic vision to date. Based in the Philippines, the pair has spent their collaborative career building work that draws from the full breadth of the archipelago’s rich, multilayered creative ecosystem, a space where generations of artists have blended inherited cultural traditions, global creative influences, and deeply personal lived experience to make work that defies simple categorization.
