About This Album

This Music/Other album from the Philippines, titled *Leon*, is by Grammy Award-winning recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges. Bridges, who hails from Fort Worth, Texas, cultivated his musical talents after initially pursuing a career in choreography, studying various dance forms at Tarrant County College. Before his music career gained momentum, he performed at open mic nights and worked as a dishwasher. His early musical output, particularly his debut album, garnered comparisons to soul legends. Bridges' debut album, *Coming Home*, released in June 2015, debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 and received a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album, with its song "River" later certified Platinum. His second album, *Good Thing*, released in May 2018, reached the Top Ten and earned generally positive reviews, with "Bet Ain't Worth the Hand" securing him a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
