About this Song
Leon Bridges, a Grammy Award-winning recording artist and songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas, presents "Ain't Got Nothing On You," a track from the Philippines. Bridges' career began with performances at open mic nights, following his studies in hip-hop, modern, ballet, and jazz dance at Tarrant County College, where he initially pursued choreography. His debut album, *Coming Home*, released in June 2015, quickly established his sound, drawing comparisons to soul legends like Sam Cooke and Otis Redding. This album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album, with its song "River" later certified Platinum. Bridges continued his success with his second album, *Good Thing*, released in May 2018, which reached the Top Ten and garnered positive reviews. A highlight from *Good Thing*, "Bet Ain't Worth the Hand," secured Bridges a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
