Amiel Sol, born Amiel Isaac Sol on February 14, 1999, is an indie singer-songwriter and musician known for his mid-tempo alternative pop and OPM (Original Pilipino Music) sound. His musical style blends romantic lyricism with an ambient folk sound, typically featuring restrained arrangements built around simple guitar parts and understated vocals, often characterized by gentle melancholy and deep introspection. Sol cites Filipino musicians Johnoy Danao and Ebe Dancel as his main songwriting influences, and Bruno Major and Lizzie McAlpine for musicality. He began playing guitar at a young age, participating in Battle of the Bands competitions during high school, and started releasing music online during the COVID-19 pandemic, composing and recording songs at home.
