About This Album
Discover Distant Cowboy, the genre-defying album from Nigerian artist Nick Hawthorne, a standout addition to any collection of boundary-pushing African music. Rooted in Nigeria’s vibrant, diverse independent music landscape, this uncategorizable project rejects mainstream formulas to deliver a vivid, immersive listening experience that feels both intimate and expansive, rich with unexpected sonic layers that reward repeated deep dives.
