About This Album
Kris Dayanti, also known as KD, is an Indonesian politician, singer, and actress whose musical career began at age nine, singing for the movie *Megaloman*. Three years later, she released her first album, *Biasa Saja*, and a soundtrack album for *Catatan Si Emon*. While in high school, Kris Dayanti participated in numerous singing and modeling competitions, becoming a finalist in the GADIS magazine's cover model search, GADIS Sampul, in 1991. In 1992, she won the grand prize at the Asia Bagus star-search program in Japan, leading to her recording an album in Singapore with Pony Canyon in 1993. She released the single "Show Me the Way to Your Heart," which was distributed in several Asian countries including Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan. In 1997, she was recognized as "The Best of Asia Bagus.
