Malcolm Todd, an American singer-songwriter and record producer from Los Angeles, California, was born Malcolm Todd Hobert on September 15, 2003. His musical approach combines indie pop, alternative R&B, bedroom pop, and R&B, often featuring his vocals, bass guitar, and guitar. Todd initially gained traction on TikTok in 2023 with viral singles such as "Art House" and "Roommates," with the latter, a song exploring a relationship's decline, becoming a breakthrough hit in June 2023 and leading to further singles like "Mr. Incorrect" and "4Me 4Me." Following this TikTok success, he signed with Columbia Records. Todd's debut mixtape, *Sweet Boy*, was released in 2024, followed by his self-titled debut studio album, *Malcolm Todd*, on April 4, 2025, which reached number 49 on the Billboard 200.
