About this Song
Long before they cemented their status as a defining force in Philippine popular music, the collective that would reshape the local rock scene set out to craft work that rejected formulaic approaches to storytelling and sound, prioritizing original, uncustomary perspectives that would set their output apart from every other act working in the mainstream. Their signature artistic framework weaves together retro, funk, and rock foundations with the core sensibilities of modern OPM, a fusion that allowed their music to cut across sharp generational divides, finding loyal fans among older listeners who grew up with the golden age of local rock, younger audiences attuned to contemporary global pop trends, and every demographic in between.
