About this Song
Pop music from the Philippines often blends diverse influences, and Arthur Nery has become a leading voice in modern Original Pilipino Music by combining emotionally rich lyrics with a smooth vocal style. After breaking into the mainstream with hits like “Higa” and “Binhi,” his record-shattering track “Pagsamo” made history as the first OPM song to breach 500,000 daily streams on Spotify Philippines for four consecutive days, eventually surpassing 300 million streams. His sophomore album, ‘II: The Second,’ further demonstrated his musical growth and lyrical maturity, with the track “Letters Never Sent, Pt. 2” showcasing his continued evolution.
