Ted Oladele grew up in Ikorodu- a community which would mint future stars like @zlatan_ibile and fashion entrepreneur, Yinka Ashogbon of @ash-luxe He would move on to study at the iconic Yaba College of Technology which naturally lent itself to his entry into the ascendant technological wave in the area in the early 2010s. He would build his name working on teams like Hotels.Ng and Delivery Science. At the latter, a cohort of colleagues would go on to build a payments company called @PaystackHQ. Ted, on the other hand wound up at competitors, @theflutterwave. From a Product Designer, he would rise to Vice President of Product and Design during a season marked by turbo charged growth where it became the fourth African company to reach unicorn status — a valuation of over $1 billion. Ted left Flutterwave to build Mira — a point-of-sale system which helped thousands of businesses manage operations, process orders, and collect payments. Mira was recently acquired by @chowdeck where Ted now serves as Head of Product.
