About This Artist

The Script is an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 2007. The band consists of lead vocalist and keyboardist Danny O'Donoghue, lead guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power. The Script's music is primarily alternative rock and pop rock, with elements of soul, funk, and hip hop.

The band released their debut album, The Script, in 2008, which featured the hit singles "We Cry," "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," and "Breakeven." The album was a commercial success, reaching number one in Ireland and the UK, and earning a platinum certification in the US. The Script has since released five more studio albums: Science & Faith (2010), #3 (2012), No Sound Without Silence (2014), Freedom Child (2017), and Sunsets & Full Moons (2019). The band has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and has been nominated for numerous awards, including two Brit Awards and four World Music Awards.
