Silent Sanctuary, a pop group from the Philippines, is known for integrating classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instruments, a style they call "Rockestra." Their discography includes the EP "Kahimanawari" and four full-length albums: "Fuschiang Pag-ibig," "Mistaken For Granted," "Monodramatic," and "Langit Luha." The song "Kundiman" is one of their chart-topping hits, alongside tracks like "Ikaw Lamang" and "Pasensya Ka Na." The band, formed in 2002, has seen several lineup changes, with the current sextet featuring Sarkie Sarangay, Ronnie Ropal, Allen Calixto, Kim Mirandilla Ng, Anjo Inacay, and Poch Villalon. Their music, often described as nostalgic and anthemic, has resonated with students and younger generations and has been featured in local film and TV soundtracks. Silent Sanctuary has also performed internationally in locations including the UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United States.
