حول هذه الأغنية
The Smile first came together as an English rock project in 2018, built from the combined creative forces of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, both longtime core members of Radiohead, and Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner. The group’s name, The Smile, is pulled directly from a poem by the acclaimed writer Ted Hughes, a quiet reference that anchors their artistic identity from their earliest writing sessions. After years of developing material in relative seclusion, the band leaned into the unstructured time of COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 to refine their work, leading to a surprise debut performance streamed exclusively by Glastonbury Festival in May 2021 that introduced their sound to the world.
