The Pop recording "Unti-Unti" from the Philippines features an electronic trio that has played across Asia, Canada, and the US. The band, which has been compared to The Chemical Brothers, Junior Boys, Disclosure, and Caribou, has opened shows for Incubus, Bloc Party, The XX, Tegan and Sara, Cut Copy, Cigarettes After Sex, Tahiti 80, Hitomitoi, Ovall, and Yumi Zouma. This trio, dubbed by Mark Coles of BBC Radio as “the Manila band most likely to cross over to the lucrative Anglophone market of North America,” is currently working on its fifth album, leaning further into a fondness for synth-pop, techno, and house.
