حول هذه الأغنية
The Filipino rock and roll act behind Eager Angels roots its work in the long, vibrant lineage of Philippine rock and roll, a scene that has thrived for decades by balancing the raw, propulsive energy that defines the global genre with the nuanced, community-focused storytelling that has long been a cornerstone of creative expression across the archipelago and beyond. This scene has never been a monolith, with acts across every region of the Philippines bringing their own lived experiences, perspectives, and creative impulses to bear on every recording they release, turning rock and roll from an imported cultural form into something distinctly, unmistakeably Filipino. Eager Angels fits firmly within this legacy, leaning into the core structure of rock and roll that has made the genre a globally beloved vehicle for creative expression, while carrying the same sense of place and purpose that marks the most enduring works to emerge from the Philippines’ robust creative circuits.
