Ikaw Lamang stands as one of the most enduring chart-topping hits crafted by Silent Sanctuary, the 6-piece Filipino alternative pop-rock band that has shaped the country’s contemporary music landscape for more than two decades. Formed in 2002, the band earned early recognition as one of the pioneers of a signature sound they dubbed “Rockestra,” a groundbreaking fusion that wove classical instruments like cello and violin into the core framework of traditional rock band instrumentation, a choice that set them apart from their peers early in their career and cemented their legacy as innovators in the local scene. Over the years that followed their founding, the band built a robust discography that includes multiple standalone singles, an EP titled Kahimanawari, and four full-length studio albums: Fuschiang Pag-ibig, Mistaken For Granted, Monodramatic, and Langit Luha.
