The Pop recording "Abot Langit" from the Philippines features a band recognized for pioneering the integration of classical instruments like cello and violin with traditional band instrumentation. This group, formed in 2002, developed a signature sound they termed "Rockestra." Their work includes an EP, "Kahimanawari," and four full-length albums: "Fuschiang Pag-ibig," "Mistaken For Granted," "Monodramatic," and "Langit Luha." These albums have yielded chart-topping hits such as "Ikaw Lamang" and "Hiling." The band's music has also appeared in local movie and television series soundtracks, including "Maalala Mo Sana." Known for its anthemic quality, their songwriting resonates with high school and college students, a connection that has persisted across generations. The band has performed internationally in locations such as the UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United States.
