Rob Deniel, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Philippines, is known for his soft rock sound inspired by classic Manila Sound. His musicality often explores romantic themes, evident in his original compositions and his interpretations of other artists' work. Deniel achieved viral popularity for his emotional covers, including Ogie Alcasid's "Nandito Ako" and "Ikaw Sana." He later released the digital EP "RD Covers," which features these renditions alongside other signature tracks. Among these is "Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang," a Pop recording also originally by Ogie Alcasid, which simultaneously charted on Spotify Philippines, Apple Music Philippines, and Billboard Philippines.
