حول هذه الأغنية
Regine Velasquez, often hailed as "Asia's Songbird" and "The Queen of Pop" in her native Philippines, performs "You Are My Song," a pop recording from the country. Velasquez is celebrated for her expansive vocal range and belting technique, qualities that have contributed to her status as the best-selling Filipino artist of all time, with over seven million records sold in the Philippines and an additional 1.5 million across Asia. Born Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez on April 22, 1970, in Tondo, Manila, her early vocal training regimen included her father immersing her neck-deep in the sea to build core strength, muscle development, and lung capacity. Velasquez's rise to prominence began with victories in the television talent show *Ang Bagong Kampeon* in 1984 and the Asia Pacific Singing Contest in 1989.
