حول هذه الأغنية
The Filipino hip-pop creator behind BLGBGN works within a longstanding, interconnected community of makers in the Philippines who have redefined the global category of hip-pop to root it in the specific cultural, social, and creative contexts of their home archipelago. Every choice that shapes BLGBGN ties back to the artist’s deep investment in that community, their commitment to expanding the ways that Filipino creators can claim space within hip-pop’s global lineage, and their ability to weave together the core tenets of the genre that resonate across borders while infusing the work with the unmistakeable specificity of life and creativity in the Philippines.
