حول هذه الأغنية
Pop music from the Philippines, "Papa Cologne" features the credited artist Parokya Ni Edgar. Known for witty pop-punk songs, the band formed in Ateneo High School in Manila, originally performing parodies of well-known songs under the name Comic Relief. After signing with Universal, their 1996 debut, *KHANGKHUNGKHERRNitZ The Album*, went platinum in six months. The group's irreverent antics, such as setting Tagalog lyrics to melodies by artists like The Clash and Bob Dylan, resonated with both mainstream and underground audiences. Their second album, *BURUGUDUYSTUNSTUGUDUNSTUY*, blended serious themes with their signature comedic style. In 1999, their "Harana" video earned the Asian Viewers' Choice at the MTV awards in New York City.
