With "Panahon Na Naman Ng Harana," Philippine pop band Parokya Ni Edgar revisits the theme of their 1999 MTV Asian Viewers' Choice-winning video "Harana." The band, known for their witty pop-punk songs and comedic stage antics, formed in Ateneo High School in Manila. Originally named Comic Relief, the group specialized in parodying well-known songs before signing with Universal and releasing their 1996 debut, *Khangkhungkherrnitz the Album*. That unusually titled album went platinum in six months, and a year later, their second full-length, *Buruguduystunstugudunstuy*, continued to blend serious material with comedic elements.
