Hailing from Cebu City, Jolianne Salvado—who performs mononymously as Jolianne—built her career in the Philippines’ music industry from an early breakthrough on a national televised stage, first stepping into the spotlight as a contestant on The Voice Kids Philippines in 2015. That early exposure laid the groundwork for a string of releases that would establish her as a rising voice in local and regional pop, as she signed with Careless Records in 2021, expanding her reach and collaborative circle far beyond her Cebu base. Long before her charting 2025 duet Palayo Sa Mundo, Jolianne released her debut single “Irises” in 2019, followed a year later by the 2020 track “Halfway There,” which would go on to accumulate over 14 million streams on Spotify. That same 2021 year she joined Careless, she took the stage as an opening act for iconic international acts Air Supply and Michael Learns To Rock, a milestone that cemented her ability to connect with large, diverse audiences.
