Cebu City-born singer and songwriter Jolianne, who performs mononymously, first introduced her voice to national audiences as a 2015 contestant on The Voice Kids Philippines, laying the groundwork for a career that would blend accessible, emotionally resonant pop with deeply personal storytelling. She signed to Careless Records in 2021, a milestone that expanded her platform to build on the independent momentum she first generated with her 2019 debut single "Irises," and the 2020 track "Halfway There," which would go on to accumulate over 14 million streams on Spotify.
