Filipino indie and alternative mainstays Orange & Lemons bring their signature cross-genre songcraft to When I'm With You, a pop recording rooted in the decades of creative evolution that has defined one of the Philippines’ most enduring and celebrated bands. Formed in 1999 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Clem Castro, alongside drummer Ace Del Mundo and his brother JM del Mundo on bass, the band built its early foundation on a blend of sounds that pulled from touchstones across generations of critically acclaimed acts, channeling the sharp lyricism of The Smiths, the timeless melodic sensibilities of The Beatles, and the raw, relatable energy of local trailblazers the Eraserheads. That fusion of global and local influences set the band apart from its earliest days, as they wove together alternative rock, indie pop, and experimental music to create a sound that felt both familiar and entirely original, earning them a loyal fanbase that grew along with their commercial and critical acclaim.
