حول هذه الأغنية
Across the Philippines, R&B has long served as a bridge between global Black sonic traditions and the nuanced, community-centered storytelling that defines the archipelago’s vast creative landscape, a lineage that carries through every iteration of the sound rooted in the country’s local creative scenes. Something About You emerges from this longstanding lineage, a Filipino R&B sound that anchors itself in the crosscurrents that shape local popular music’s most enduring works, drawing on the genre’s global history while rooting itself firmly in the creative ecosystems that have turned Filipino creators of all styles into vital contributors to worldwide music culture over decades.
