حول هذه الأغنية
The sustained, rich lineage of R&B that has taken root and expanded across the Philippines has shaped a creative ecosystem that reinterprets the core tenets of the genre while weaving in the cultural sensibilities that define creative output from the archipelago, turning a globally beloved form into a vessel for uniquely local perspective and creative exploration. For decades, creators based across the Philippines’ many islands have engaged with R&B, pulling from its foundational sonic and structural traditions while infusing their own lived experiences, creative reference points, and cultural inheritances to build a body of work that stands on its own as a distinct, vital iteration of the genre, contributing to the global R&B landscape’s ongoing evolution and diversification.
