Emerging as a key part of Loonie’s long-awaited comeback project, the 2024 remastered recording of Maria Juana anchors a Philippine pop body of work that leans into the power of collaboration to anchor every creative choice, with the full album Meron Na bringing together a roster of local talent that spans established scene staples and exciting new voices. Across the project, Loonie enlists a lineup of fellow Philippine hip-hop artists including Flow G, Omar Baliw, JRLDM, Smugglaz, and up-and-coming artist Hev Abi, just for a sampling of the creative partners that bring the album’s wide-ranging vision to life, alongside a team of stellar music producers that includes Yung Bawal, Klumcee, Jim P, Apoc, and Ochomil.
