حول هذا الألبوم
Rooted in the rich, interconnected ecosystem of popular music that has flourished across the Philippines for decades, In Your Fantasy carries the quiet weight of a work that emerges from a scene that balances widespread engagement with global pop’s evolving forms with the unspoken cultural currents that shape every creative act originating from the nation’s sprawling, diverse archipelago. Unlike works that pull their identity from a single monolithic idea of what pop can be, this album exists within a lineage of Filipino popular music that has long drawn from the full breadth of what the genre allows, adapting its core frameworks to speak to the specific lives, longings, and experiences of the communities that both create and engage with pop music across the country’s many islands, as well as the vast global diaspora that claims Filipino creative work as a touchstone for connection to home.
