حول هذا الألبوم
The intersection of the Philippines’ vibrant, community-focused sonic landscape and global hip-hop’s adaptable, boundary-pushing core shapes every choice of the album Dj Mogo, a project that grows out of decades of Filipino creators reimagining imported musical forms to reflect their own unique lived experiences, cultural traditions, and communal desires. For generations, musicians and producers across the Philippine archipelago have taken global genres, from rock to disco to hip-hop, and woven them into the fabric of local celebration, turning shared sonic experiences into spaces that feel both accessible to audiences around the world and unmistakeably rooted in the specific energy of Filipino gatherings, where rhythm and movement serve as a universal language that connects people across regions, class backgrounds, and walks of life.
