Rooted in the dynamic, rapidly evolving local pop landscape of the Philippines, the young pop-alternative group behind Tataya - Live cut their teeth as a beloved act from the country’s northern region, building a cohesive, widely celebrated discography under their official band name Cup of Joe. The core lineup that powers every one of their releases brings together Gian Bernardino on vocals, Raphaell Ridao also on vocals, Gabriel Fernandez on lead guitar, CJ Fernandez on rhythm guitar, and Xen Gareza on keys, a combination of talents that has allowed the band to craft a robust, emotionally resonant body of work that connects deeply with fans across their home country and beyond. Their first formal project, a much-awaited debut EP titled Patutunguhan, marked their arrival as a major new force in Filipino pop, featuring a slate of all-new original tracks that showcased their range and knack for blending accessible pop hooks with the edge of alternative rock that defines their signature sound.
