"Langyang Pag-Ibig" is a musical offering from Ben&Ben, an indie folk-pop band from the Philippines that initially formed in 2016 as The Benjamins, founded by twin brothers Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico. The group expanded to a nine-member ensemble in 2017 with the addition of Poch Barretto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussion, and Keifer Cabugao on violin. Ben&Ben's sound is characterized by its anthemic qualities and emotional engagement, blending elements of indie folk, folk-pop, folk rock, and pop rock. Their lyrical content frequently delves into themes of loss, heartbreak, relationships, and the journey toward self-love. The band's early career saw the release of their self-titled EP in 2016, followed by notable singles like "Leaves" and "Kathang Isip," which significantly contributed to their growing prominence.
