حول هذا الألبوم
The NQC-PhilPop collaboration that spawned 500: the NQC-PhilPop Playlist draws on decades of shared investment in elevating Philippine musical tradition, centering folk as the foundational, ever-evolving genre that anchors this full-length album. Curated to honor the scope of folk practice as it exists across the Philippines, the collection leans into the core purpose that defines all folk work: the transmission of shared cultural memory, creative perspective, and communal experience through sound, a throughline that ties every selection gathered for the album to a long line of creative practice stretching across the archipelago.
