Jakarta-domiciled major label Milana Musik Nusantara, a leader in Indonesia’s local music industry focused on elevating dangdut and pop sounds from homegrown creators, counts Tasya Rosmala among the core artists signed to its roster, building on shared creative visions to release widely accessible tracks for listeners across the archipelago. In 2020, the label released the original iteration of Perlahan, which would later be adapted into the karaoke version at the center of this sound, Tasya Rosmala - Perlahan (Karaoke Version), crafted as an interactive take on the original hit pop track. Created by Andri Priyanto, arranged by Dwi The Rosmala, and produced in full by Milana Musik Nusantara, the original Perlahan launched as an exclusive release for Indonesia’s JOOX platform, making it available first to local listeners who could stream the track directly through the service.
