حول هذه الأغنية
Sheila on 7, the Indonesian band rooted in Yogyakarta, marks a long-awaited return to cross-border performance with SHEILA ON 7 LIVE IN MALAYSIA, a sound recording that captures the full, vibrant scope of the group’s landmark Malaysian gig, the first time the band’s members had stepped onto Malay soil in six years. Far from a simple capture of a single stage set, the project chronicles the entire journey of the band’s entourage as they traveled to meet their Malaysian fanbase, framing every part of the trip—the lead-up to the performance, the time the group spent in the country, and the aftermath of the show—as an integral part of the experience that gives the recording its warm, celebratory tone.
