Ladya is the central protagonist of the official music video for NOAH’s pop track “Kota Mati,” a work rooted in Indonesia’s thriving music community. Ladya is a huge fan of Ariel, who previously performed under the name Ariel Peterpan before the group rebranded to its current identity, NOAH. Ladya has built an entire imaginary world she calls “Dunia Imajiner,” a private, crafted space shaped as an empty, abandoned city. In that world, only two people exist: Ladya and Ariel. She fosters a deep, unshakable sense of a spiritual and emotional bond with Ariel across every one of the group’s public performances. She always manages to secure a spot in the front row for every concert, convinced that Ariel’s gaze lingers on her specifically for the entire duration of every set. That sense of intimate connection feels real to her, until she is forced to confront the sharp divide between her made-up world and the real world, which she refers to as “Dunia Nyata.
