Penantian, the official lyric visualizer from Indonesian Hip-Hop project Last Child, centers on the quiet agony of waiting far longer than anyone should have to. It follows someone who chooses to stay, even when the person they are waiting for left long ago. It holds the weight of unshakable guilt that never fully fades, and memories that linger like a shadow, even when every effort is made to leave them in the past. This visualizer is crafted for anyone who has ever, or is currently, navigating that same liminal space, holding out hope for something that may never return to them. This release is part of a 20th anniversary celebration of Last Child’s body of work, dubbed the XX Version series to mark two decades of the band’s creative output. As part of this series, an upbeat rework of the track “Pedih” is available, alongside a new version of “Lagu Terakhir Untukmu”, with more new and reworked tracks slated to arrive in the coming months.
